This plant was designed to meet the
Town of Gypsum's immediate and future needs. This included a 1,000 GPM
Complete Treatment System with controls for the entire plant and a future 1,000
GPM unit.
AquaFloc Filters
This AquaFloc Filter System includes
all valves, meters,
The AquaAir System cleans the entire bed depth and requires 36%
less backwash water
than surface wash systems. Further savings are realized by the extended time between
backwash cycles.
The custom control console contains controls for two filters, a streaming
current monitor, clearwell and reservoir level indication and control and digital
indication of all process functions. An auxiliary panel contains the motor starters,
process recorders, solenoid valves,
pneumatic system and elapsed time meters.
